Classical music is the basis, the foundation on which many musicians build. Andy Miles was a solo clarinetist of the Hamburg Philharmonic, later on he became a solo clarinetist in the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra. Many of his concerts begin classical, e.g. with the clarinet concertos of Mozart or Weber. Andy Miles also has interesting and extraordinary projects in classical music. Especially the project "Romance" with the soprano Chen Reiss has provided international attention. Here Andy Miles recorded the "Hirt auf dem Felsen" by Franz Schubert and other songs by Franz Lachner, Louis Spohr and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra.
